After five intensive weeks of creation with choreographer Jonathan Fredrickson, whose experience includes choreographies for Limòn and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, the baton passes into the hands of Roni Chadash and Fernando Melo's, who are on their way to Turin.
Jonathan Fredrickson opened Turin's NUOVA X and his research work, blending storytelling and dance together, where the connection between voice, bodies, music and objects helps bring creation to life, led the participants of the program through a valuable journey of research.
Michael Getman, Emilie Leriche and Astrid Boons will be the next choreographers to create for the program, but NUOVA X artistic director Tom Weinberger has opened selections and announced the guest choreographers for the third quarter: Roni Chadash and Fernando Melo will close the program from April 3 to June 16 at the Nuova Officina della Danza.
