Important update!

Due to the spread of the epidemic and to help its containment, the Italian Ministry asks all Italian territory to suspend all physical activities, events and shows as of March 5, the Nuova Officina della Danza, Nod Association is obligated to suspend activities and postpone them until April 14th, 2020 as it can not guarantee the adequate and required distance to be kept from others.

Given the internationality of teachers and students and the collective difficulties in reaching Turin, and wanting to responsibly guarantee the safety of all participants, Nod sadly suspends its scheduled activities from Monday March 9th 2020 to Monday April 13th, 2020 ( inclusive).

The international contemporary dance program organized by NOD for the next season will be a real professional experience that offers performances projects

Project Andrea Costanzo Martini 16 - 26 March
 

The project with Andrea Costanzo Martini is part of RESIDENZE TRAMPOLINO, an innovative device conceived by Lavanderia a Vapore, as an effective scouting action, in dialogue with dance schools and with the communities with which the Lavanderia collaborates.

For this reason, 4 scholarships worth € 500 are available, covering the entire participation fee for dancers / dancers residing in Italy with particular attention to those resident in Piedmont.

Andrea Costanzo Martini, former dancer of the Batsheva Dance Company, is a freelance dancer and choreographer.

NOD is looking for 12 dancers (6 men and 6 women) to create and perform, at the end of a two-week process, a choreography by Andrea Costanzo Martini.

The selection will take place through video applications which will be viewed and selected by Andrea himself. The creation process is open to all but the final performance will take place only with the 12 selected dancers.

This performance project is an initiative outside the ICD-NOD program, anyone can apply.

Period 16 - 26 March 2020 - 11 days - Timetable h: 1,30 - h: 5 pm

The chosen dancers can be part of the daily Gaga dancers class led  by Andrea Costanzo in the morning

Deadline to submit the application December 21st
 

The results will be announced by January 20th
The full payment will be requested by the end of January

Costs € 500.00 + € 15.0 registration / insurance

The show is scheduled for 26 March at the Lavanderia a Vapore in Collegno (Corso Pastrengo 52), during the season WHAT IS MOVING.

Important to know!

-  For organizational reasons and to speed up the procedure, we ask the chosen dancers to give confirmation within 48 hours of the publication of the list (January 20th )
If payment is not made by that date, it is assumed that you are no longer interested in the project and your saved spot will be assigned to the next dancer  chosen by the choreographer on the second cast list

 

We inform you that enrollment will be considered complete only after having sent a copy of the payment made

 

- If you change your mind, notice of cancellation is greatly appreciated as to permanently be deleted from temporary list

- If by reason of Act of God, beyond the control of either party, the workshop/s set out above are cancelled, exclusively for reasons attributable to the organization, it is the obligation of the organization itself, repay the entire amount paid for participation.
