Applications for the 2024 /2025 academic year of NUOVA X are now open. Secure your spot by submitting your application by April 30th.
NOD offers two international programs, ICD Program and NUOVA X Professional Dance Program, if interested, it is possible to apply for both programs.
NUOVA X
Nuova X is a professional dance program directed by choreographer Tom Weinberger, in partnership with NOD.
The program is divided into quarterly sessions, running from September to June. During each session, a selected group of international dancers will work with two contemporary choreographers to collaborate on the development of two distinct new creations.
Each creation process will extend over a period of five weeks, five days a week, four hours a day.
The main goal of our framework is to equip dancers with the necessary tools to grow and excel as collaborators in the professional dance field, promoting physical and mental adaptability, a wide understanding of creativity, a sense of ownership over our craft, and self discipline/ independence.

Requirements:
To be a dance student aged 18 and up, with a strong contemporary and ballet technique, or professional dancer and teacher.
Fill out the google form by entering your cv and two separate links (only Vimeo or YouTube links no password will be accepted): one showcasing yourself in an improvisation session (1/2 minutes sharing your skills/virtuosity as dancer, working with a task to your choice, tapping into what moves you as a movement artist/ sharing where you currently are in your movement research) and one to two minutes of a set choreography (If sending a group footage please indicate which one of the dancers is you). All are welcome regardless of ethnicity, gender or sexual preference. Limited spots available.

You can split the payment of the total tuition in agreement with the administration.
